Prompt when sending
When this is on, pressing Send in Outlook opens the add-in so the email can be assigned to a matter and time recorded. Turn it off and the add-in never loads on send for anyone — emails leave immediately, and people file emails from the task pane instead. Changes take effect the next time Outlook loads the add-in.

Listed mailboxes never trigger the add-in when they press Send: the email goes out immediately with no prompt and nothing is filed automatically. They can still file emails from the task pane. Changes take effect the next time Outlook loads the add-in.

Exempt from assigning before sending
Mailboxes listed below can send email without assigning a matter or prospect and without recording time. Everyone else is blocked by the add-in until steps 2 and 3 are complete. Changes take effect the next time a compose window loads the add-in.

Allowed to send without saving
These users get an extra option when sending an email: the email is sent as normal, but nothing is filed to DocMan and no time is recorded. Everyone else must assign the email first. Changes take effect the next time a compose window loads the add-in.

Extra email addresses (fee earner lookup)
Time recording matches the sender's Outlook address against their DocMan staff record. If somebody uses a second mailbox, a legacy address or a shared mailbox that DocMan does not hold, add it here with their DocMan fee earner code. This list is only used when the live DocMan lookup finds nothing.
